THE VILLA
This beautiful and spacious bastide is set on a sloping hillside and is easily one of the most beautiful houses in all of Luberon, making it truly luxurious holiday retreat.
 
Villa Aigues-Fregès actually consists of two houses, separated by a covered terrace, with a total of 9 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms housing a maximum of 18 guests. The total surface area is 700m2. The house has been decorated with lots of taste, in typical classical Provencal style. It provides ample space for larger groups or families, with spacious shared living quarters, pleasant private spaces for adults, and children could have a complete floor to themselves to rest and play.
 
The house is set in a beautiful environment, with 5 ha of generous nature available to you, without fences or gates to impede your view. You're surrounded by grasslands, forest, apple and cherry orchards, and apricot and fig trees. There are many covered outdoor terraces, facing east, west and south, so you'll always be able to find a place in the sun, or some welcome midday shadow. From all of these terraces you have magnificent views over the valley and the Mont de Vaucluse.
 
In the garden you will find a large pool measuring 12x6m, protected by a sound alarm. The terrace separating the two houses holds a large BBQ.
 
 
MAIN HOUSE
Through the hallway you enter the living room with library and fireplace. There's a second large living room with a beautiful vaulted ceiling and doors opening onto a terrace facing east, and of course the main house has a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, cooker, micro-wave, American fridge etc), leading to a spacious outdoor terrace facing west. You'll also find a large laundry room with washing machine and ironing equipment.

A beautiful living room with fireplace opening up onto a terrace facing north, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer) with a terrace with a beautiful view over the park.

RENTAL CONDITIONS

A guarantee deposit of €1500 is required.

A well-behaved dog can be admitted on request.
 
 
LOCATION
In the heart of the Luberon National park lies the medieval hilltop village of Saignon. Villa Aigues-Fregès is located just a few kilometers from the beautiful village square, where you'll find several restaurants, a bakery, a small convenience store and a post office. The lively town of Apt, with its shops, markets, cafes and restaurants is just a 5 minutes drive away.

Saignon is situated about 40 miles east of Avignon, 15 minutes from Bonnieux , Gordes and Roussillon, 30 min. from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (famous for its antique shops) and 50 minutes from Aix en Provence. Marseille Airport is at about an hour's drive.
