LOCATION
Villa Grand Luberon is located in a tranquil hamlet, a 10-min drive from Gordes. It is a 50 minute drive from Marseille’s, Marignane airport (British Airways, Easy jet, Ryanair), 35 minutes from the TGV station at Avignon and 30 minutes from Avignon airport. Nîmes airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away and Montpellier 1 and a half hours away. Although only 15 minutes from the A7 motorway the house is in the depth of the Luberon countryside in peaceful and pretty surroundings.
Villa Grand Luberon is a magnificent quiet and secluded rural domain, a bit like a small hamlet within a hamlet, which comprises three houses: the beautiful and luxurious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Main House , the large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Farmhouse and the Loft, which is a former ‘Magnanerie' (silk worm farm) which has been converted into a beautiful high ceilinged loft apartment.

There are cool and shady gardens with various sitting areas as well as a delightful pool with terrace area for sunbathing and relaxing.
You will be provided with guide books and maps of the area, and on arrival, you will receive a welcome pack containing essentials such as milk, butter, bread, tea and coffee.
THE MAIN HOUSE
The Main House with traditional 'pierres apparentes' stone walls dates from the 18th century and whilst preserving its historic façade the inside has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated, to give the comforts associated with the 21st century.
The Main House offers two large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and has a light and airy living room with a large Provencal fireplace, and an equally light dining room with nice views of the garden.
You'll find a fully equipped kitchen, and airconditioning in the entrance hall, living room and master bedroom. There are outside terraces to the South and the West, with beautiful views of the pool and the tennis court and towards the Luberon mountains.
THE FARMHOUSE
Every room has its own charm and a wireless internet connection. The living room has satellite television and radio as well as a DVD player with films for adults and children.
On the first floor you'll find a large twin/double bedroom with en suite luxury bathroom. (bathtub/walk-in shower/double washbasins & separate WC.)
The other twin and double bedroom share the second shower room with walk-in shower, WC, washbasin and washing machine.
The light and airy living/dining room is on the second floor, and is open-plan with the kitchen. Because of its elevation there are wonderful views to be had from this air conditioned room and its adjoining large terrace, ideal for ‘al fresco’ dining.
THE LOFT
The Loft is a former ‘Magnanerie' (silk worm farm) which has been converted into a beautiful, high ceilinged loft apartment - once the music room of the previous owner. Indeed it contains a baby Grand Piano as well as an excellent music system.
There is about 100 m² of living space in the loft which is comprised of a large living area with bookcase, fireplace with wood-burning stove, music system, TV, WiFi internet access and the piano. Of course there is a fitted kitchen with oven and hot plate, a large fridge and a bathroom with shower and bathtub as well as a washing machine.
The sleeping area is above the kitchen on a large mezzanine and has a queen size bed. Next door to the sleeping area is a small bedroom with single bed, which also has a wash hand basin and stunning views of the Alpilles hills.
The Loft ideally suits a couple or a couple with child.
RENTAL INFORMATION & CONDITIONS
• On arrival we will make sure that you receive a Welcome Pack containing essentials such as milk, butter, coffee and tea.
• All electricity, air conditioning and heating is included in the rental rates. (There is air conditioning on the top floor living room of the 3 bedroom house. The other rooms remain very cool in the summer)
• A cleaner will come once during the week and once at the weekend.
• We ask that you leave the house in decent condition - but the cleaner will thoroughly clean up at the end of your stay. If you wish the cleaner to come more often this can be organized at an extra charge.
• All sheets and towels are provided including pool towels.
• Full access to use of Tennis Court, Swimming Pool and Table Tennis. Please note that the Tennis court is not in ‘pristine’ condition.
• No smoking is allowed inside the houses. We regret to inform you that we are unable to accept pets.
