THE HOUSE
Comfortable family home in the Luberon countryside, with beautiful views, in a pleasant and peaceful area close to Gordes which is regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.

The traditional 'pierres apparentes' stone wall house has been tastefully renovated and sleeps up to 6 (+2) in 4 bedrooms. It has a light and airy living room with a large Provencal fireplace and beautiful views of the garden and the surrounding countryside. On the ground floor you'll find 3 of the bedrooms, the bathroom and a separate toilet. The 4th bedroom is upstairs and has a sloped ceiling which makes it better suited for children.

From the living room doors open onto a magnificent outside terrace with beautiful views of the pool and garden, and towards the Luberon mountains and the village of Roussillon. Two of the bedrooms also have doors opening onto an outside terrace, with great views as well.

The pool measures 10x4m and is complemented with a poolhouse, which provides a nice shaded retreat from the midday sun. There's private parking on the premises, and an outdoor stove/BBQ is supplied.


LOCATION
Villa La Badelle is located in a tranquil hamlet, a 10-min drive from Gordes. It is a 50 minute drive from Marseille’s, Marignane airport (British Airways, Easy jet, Ryanair), 35 minutes from the TGV station at Avignon and 30 minutes from Avignon airport.

Nîmes airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away and Montpellier 1 and a half hours away. Although only 15 minutes from the A7 motorway the house is in the depth of the Luberon countryside in peaceful and pretty surroundings.
