Comfortable family home in the Luberon countryside, with beautiful views, in a pleasant and peaceful area close to Gordes which is regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. The famous villages of Bonnieux, Menerbes, Goult and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are all nearby.
This traditional 'pierres apparentes' stone wall house has been tastefully renovated and sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms benefit from air conditioning. The house has a light and airy living room with a large Provencal fireplace and beautiful views of the garden and the surrounding countryside. The well-equipped kitchen has doors leading to the garden and to the utility room.
From the living room doors open onto a magnificent outside terrace with beautiful views of the pool and garden, and towards the Luberon mountains and the village of Roussillon.
On the ground floor you'll find 3 of the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 4th bedroom is upstairs and has a sloped ceiling which makes it better suited for children.Two of the bedrooms also have doors opening onto an outside terrace, with great views as well.
The pool measures 10x4m and is complemented with a poolhouse, which provides anice shaded retreat from the midday sun. There's private parking on the premises, and a BBQ is supplied.
Villa La Badelle is located at walking distance from the picturesque hamlet of Saint-Pantaléon, with a very nice restaurant and 'salon de thé'. It is a short drive to either Gordes at 6 km or Goult at 4 km. Marseille’s Marignane airport is a 50 minute drive, the villa is 35 minutes from the TGV station at Avignon and 30 minutes from Avignon airport.
Nîmes airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away and Montpellier 1 and a half hours away. Although only 20 minutes from the A7 motorway the house is in the depth of the Luberon countryside in peaceful and pretty surroundings. You'll find a 18-hole golf course near Saumane, at 18 km.

We really had a wonderful holiday at the Villa La Badelle. The house and the garden are great and perfectly equipped so we didn´t miss anything. The furnishings and the dishes are very aesthetic. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and has a good size for preparing meals and also has enough space for storage. I think we had a good mixture of discovering the surroundings of this beautiful landscape and relaxing in the sun and beside our little trips to Gordes, Aix en Provence, Avignon, Cassis, Apt, Bonnieux, … we really enjoyed to relax at the pool in that beautiful garden with that wonderful view - and of course have some Rosé at one of that many beautiful possibilities to have a seat in the garden and terrace. We have had lovely and tasty dinners specially at „Le Carillon“, „La Mas Tourteron“ and „La Trinquette“. Please give a big hug to the caretaker, she is a very lovely person and we were cordially received by her when we arrived.

This is the second year that we have come to La Badelle to enjoy this magnificent house. We appreciated the geographical location, the complete and perfect equipment. The house is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool is very pleasant, we took full advantage of it with our daughter, our son-in-law and their baby. We enjoyed our stay a lot - the house is really lovely and we enjoyed all the small villages around (and the beautiful hiking opportunities!). It’s actually a very cozy house in the wintertime as the fireplace and floor heating make the living room very inviting. Thanks for recommending it to us! Can’t even imagine how nice it would be in the summer with its pool and being able to use the outdoor facilities. We had a wonderful time at Villa Badelle. The villa itself was very pretty with lovely views. We had not visited this area of France before but we enjoyed the tranquillity and the surrounding area so much we will definitely be returning. Specifically we had a warm welcome and found both the house and garden exceptionally clean and tidy. The house was also very nicely furnished. The kitchen was a really nice size and very well equipped. The gardeners attended a couple of times during the week and the pool was well maintained. We thought it excellent value for money. We had the pleasure to stay at La Badelle in spring, which is a lovely time to be in Luberon if you love tranquility and the most beautiful countryside. The house itself is wonderful and the view is breath taking. We experienced the benefits of the floor heating, a rare detail in houses in the South of France. It shows that a lot of love was put into every aspect of the house. The best concierge you can think of helped us whenever there was question. We totally fell in love with La Badelle and would come back any time!

We LOVED Villa Badelle!! It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of location and quality of accommodation.The house was immaculate and very nicely decorated-great kitchen facilities. Garden was well maintained, as was the pool and all the outside furniture. It was lovely to have so many options for sitting outside and eating, etc. I would definitely recommend it to all my fussy friends so it gets a gold star from us!! I think it was priced appropriately. Dont hesitate to recommend this lovely home, we all just wanted to stay!!

We had a wonderful time in Villa La Badelle and really didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful and a credit to the owners. It has everything you could want and more. The silence and views were truly amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it. The caretaker was fantastic - she even tied a bag around the post at end of drive so we could find the house in the dark. We didn’t arrive until 10 pm and we were tired so it was a great help. She also stocked the fridge for us so we were able to have a nice meal when we finally arrived. Thank you also for your help and information pack about the locality. We hope to return next year!

We loved the villa and we enjoyed our stay very much - the house was exactly what we were looking for and very suitable for our 2 families. The children and also we adults felt very well and the house intereur was extraordinary beautiful and everything was very clean. Thank you also for that very well equipped kitchen, we loved to cook. Everything was great, the house perfect, the caretakers welcome was very pleasant. Thanks to the good weather, we were able to appreciate the garden, the deckchairs by the pool and the pool house for lunch. The bedding was good quality, the kitchen facilities were perfect, and the fireplace works very well. The location is really incredible, in the heart of the Luberon where we were able to visit magnificent villages by electric bike such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon and Ménerbes. We really want to come back someday!

It was a fantastic week we had in villa la Badelle! We enjoyed every day and minute in that gorgeous place!Every room and corner in the garden were beautiful and decorated with good taste. (I loved the beddings with butterflies and dragonflies etc). Every morning was blessed with the awesome view from the terrace as well as dinner nights. We all enjoyed the cooling (but heated) swimming pool during this hot week. The location is excellent for exploring Provence-s beautiful villages and towns. We liked the house very much. I have nothing negative to say about it but would like to mention some things which we particularly appreciated. We loved the fact that there were so many different places to sit and eat outside. Whatever the time of day there was always somewhere nice to sit in both shade and sunshine. We also appreciated the very well equipped kitchen and the large amount of crockery and glasses and we thought the sitting room was very comfortable. Top marks for the large towels too!

Villa la Badelle was a well located and beautiful property. The living spaces were excellent, as were the outdoor areas.
