THE VILLA
This beautiful and spacious bastide, set on a sloping hillside and surrounded by 10ha (25 acres) of woodland and cherry orchards, with beautiful views of Saignon and its famous 'Rocher' and the Mont de Vaucluse, is a truly luxurious holiday retreat.

Villa Rimayon is a 18th century traditional "Maison de Maitre", which was renovated extensively recently, and accommodates up to 8 adults and 2 children in 4 bedrooms (3 rooms with a double bed, one room with two single beds and 2 bunk beds). Two of the bedrooms have a bathroom en-suite, the other two share a bathroom. The house has been decorated with lots of taste, in an eclectic mix of Art Deco and modern furnishings. There's an authentic Provencal fireplace, and the house is equipped with underfloor heating, so it is well suited for winter rental.

The house is set in a beautiful environment, with 10 ha of generous nature available to you, without fences or gates to impede your view. The house is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden, with several terraces and seating areas, so you'll always be able to find a place in the sun, or some welcome midday shadow. From all of these terraces you have magnificent views of Saignon and the Mont de Vaucluse. One of the most striking features of this house is how the Provencal light colors the views, making you feel you're looking at a van Gogh painting!

In the garden you'll find a large pool. Garden furniture, lounge chairs and a BBQ are all supplied, so that you can enjoy the Provencal weather to the fullest.
 
   
LOCATION
In the heart of Luberon National park, Villa Rimayon is located between the medieval hilltop village of Saignon and the lively town of Apt. The house is located just a few kilometers from the beautiful village square of Saignon, where you'll find several restaurants, a bakery, a small convenience store and a post office. The town of Apt, with its shops, markets, cafes and restaurants is just a few minutes drive away.

Villa Rimayon is situated about 40 miles east of Avignon, 15 minutes from Bonnieux , Gordes and Roussillon, 30 min. from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (famous for its antique shops) and 50 minutes from Aix en Provence. Marseille Airport is at about an hour's drive.
