LOCATION
At the foot of the Montagne de Luberon lies the magnificent medieval village of Oppede Le Vieux. Oppede is perched high on a rocky outcrop surrounded by lush vegetation, and the Luberon Mountains form a striking backdrop.

Oppede is situated about 35 km southeast of Avignon, 20 minutes from Bonnieux and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (famous for its antique shops) and 50 minutes from Aix en Provence. Marseille Airport is at about an hour's drive.
 
 
THE VILLA
This beautiful and spacious 18th century 'Mas' is set amidst 5 acres of vineyards about 5 mins from Oppede, and offers spectacular views in all directions. The Mas has been beautifully restored, and you are certain to enjoy the eclectic combination of the contemporary and the antique. Villa Royere offers peace and quiet in great comfort.

Outside you'll find many partly covered outdoor terraces, facing east, west and south, so you'll always be able to find a place in the sun, or some welcome midday shadow. From all of these terraces you have magnificent views over the vineyards and the Montagne de Luberon.

The house has a beautiful courtyard with traditional 'pierres apparentes' stone walls, and the courtyard has its own separate kitchen, perfect for preparing a lunch or an apéritif. Villa Royere has a large pool with Jacuzzi and countercurrent, and an outdoor BBQ with electric grill and 'plancha'. You'll also find a pleasant Jeu de Boules court and a table tennis table.

You enter through a spacious hallway. There's a large living room with fireplace, with direct access to the East terrace and its swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has all the appliances necessary to test your mastery of French cuisine. The dining room has room for ten, with a sturdy wooden dining table and a traditional Provencal fireplace.

On this level you'll find two bedrooms:
the 'Violette' room: with a 160 * 200cm cm bed, and an integrated bathroom with bath, bidet, beautiful wash basin and WC
the 'Srinagar' room: with two beds (90 * 200cm), and a bathroom with shower, wash basin, bidet and WC.

On the lower level you'll find three bedrooms:
the 'du Comte' room: with a 160 * 200cm bed
the 'Lili' room: with two beds (90 * 200cm).
The 'du Comte' room and the 'Lili' room share a bathroom with shower and WC.
the 'Vaulted Room': this beautiful vaulted room has independent access from the courtyard. There's a 160 * 200cm bed, and a spacious bathroom done up in splendid brown marble, with a bath, shower, bidet, washbasin and WC.

On the lower level you will also find a laundry room with washer and dryer.
