Beautiful renovated traditional Mas in the Luberon, near the quiet Medieval village of Villars. Situated in the centre of the Luberon near the villages of Roussillon, Gordes and Bonnieux, this is the perfect home base for your stay in Provence. Mas Luberon comfortably sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom facilities, and offers over 480m² of living space as well as a 12x6m pool and 10,000m² garden.Two sleeping sofas are available, if desired Mas Luberon can accommodate a family of 12 (a surcharge will apply, please enquire).
Entrance to the house is through a traditional hallway. To the right of this entrée is the spacious main living with Provencal fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is a huge live-in kitchen with 2 cooking islands and a large glassed-in dining room, with nice views of the pool area.
To the left of the hallway is a large salon with fireplace and stylish antique furniture.
At the far end of the hallway a door leads to a separate part of the house with a living room, bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. The living room has French doors opening up onto the terrace in front of the house. In this part of the house two sleeping sofas are available.
From the living room a staircase leads up to the master bedroom. This comprises a sleeping area with fireplace,study,dressing,a designer bathroom with bath and walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The master bedroom has a private terrace overlooking the pool, with beautiful views of the Luberon mountains.
From the hallway authentic Provencal stairs also lead to the master bedroom, and to the three first floor bedrooms. These three bedrooms all have their own bathrooms with bath, separate shower and toilet. The first floor has a mobile air conditioning unit.
Just outside the kitchen is a large dining table, perfect for a breakfast in the sun or a leisurely dinner overlooking the pool. The garden harbors numerous large trees which provide ample shade: under the large century-old plane tree near the pool especially you will enjoy all-day natural shade, providing a welcome shelter from the midday sun. Under this tree you will find a second large dining table, for you to enjoy an 'al fresco' lunch or dinner. There's a mobile BBQ which can be placed in this beautiful spot.
In the garden you will find the large 12x6m swimming pool, and there's ample private parking space on the domain.

Staying at Mas Luberon was the perfect holiday break for our family. 10 of us just had the very best time. The house is so beautiful and comfortable. Huge bedrooms with large comfy beds, every one with large en suite bathrooms with bath and shower. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to a high standard and made it easy to prepare regular meals for 10 or more. The house feels so civilised and aesthetically pleasing, with marvellous quirky paintings and sculpture and a fascinating collection of books. A truly beguiling atmosphere. The massive swimming pool is the perfect temperature, just cold enough to be refreshing. The garden itself is beautiful, from the giant plane tree that watches majestically over the pool, to all the little areas where one can sit and read or paint or eat, dotted all over the plot. Magical. The location is perfect with great Provençal views over the Luberon. The local Boulangerie in Villars 5 minutes away has delicious croissants, baguettes etc made in an ancient giant stone oven! E. Leclerc supermarket is 10 minutes away with absolutely everything you might need. The bars, restaurants, shops and markets in Apt and other towns close by are all fantastic. Literally next door are two fine wine making chateau's who offer lovely tasting experiences and the chance to stock up on essential supplies! Lastly, the incredibly helpful caretaker welcomed us and showed us round with great care and charm and even had an interpreter on hand to cope with my schoolboy French! Thank you everybody. We had the most perfect perfect time. We will definitely be back!

We had a great holiday in Mas Luberon. The house is very beautiful, spacious, very nice and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, very neat, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, the book collection is impressive! The garden is unique with its beautiful, sometimes hidden, spots. The children, as well as us, really enjoyed the pool and the garden. Maintenance of the pool was perfect, and we also appreciate the maintenance after a week (with fresh sheets!). A holiday we will not soon forget! Our compliments also to the caretaker: we received a very warm welcome, a very attentive and sympathetic lady!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Mas Luberon. To me the house was the most beautiful I stayed in so far, very personal, very cosy, very ... everything! It was very nice to have some in-between-cleaning and change of towels and sheets. The pool was very well maintained. I have no complaints whatsoever-and also, it was very easy to communicate with the caretaker. I would have stayed for another week, had it been possible!

Our stay was great! The house is very beautiful, and the decoration, the art, the books exquisite. We have treated the house as if it were our own, with great respect and care. We also appreciated the delicacy of the sheets, the decoration of the bathrooms, and of course the swimming pool. The intervention of the cleaning crew twice a week also appreciated. Bravo to the owners for the construction and maintenance of this beautiful house!

I'm happy to share with you that my traveling companions and I found Mas Luberon to be most beautiful and most charming. The location and relative isolation of the house gave it an exclusive and private feel. Its expansive grounds and swimming pool have it a grand feeling. The design and lay-out of the house was perfect for convivial gatherings yet allowed private moments for the four couples which comprised our group. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were perfect, not only because there was one in each room, but because each had hotel-quality appointments. The large and well-equipped kitchen became the center of activity and was where many happy moments were spent. We had a spectacular time in Provence, and much of that would be due to Mas Luberon.We are already looking forward to our next vacation there!

We had a perfect stay at "Mas Luberon" and enjoyed the beauty of Provence! We were very enthusiastic about the kitchen and the equipment there, and we really enjoyed our meals in the garden.
