Beautiful bastide in ancient stone with magnificent views onto the Luberon and the surrounding vineyards. This 4 bedroom house, built in the traditional dry stone of the region, has over 250m² of living space as well as a 10x5m pool and a large secluded garden set in a 13ha domain. The massive historic walls and the elevation (400m above sea level) guarantee an agreeable indoor climate year round; cool during summer and comfortably warm during the pre- and after season.

Kitchen, dining room and living are semi-open plan. The large kitchen is well-equipped and the dining room table comfortably seats 8. The lounge with large fireplace is well furnished and has TV with satellite reception. Several double doors open up onto the outside terrace.

The first bedroom with en-suite bathroom is accessed from the hallway. This bedroom has doors opening up onto the outside terrace, and has lovely views. On this level you'll also find a smaller bedroom suitable for an adult or 2 children. Between the two bedrooms is a separate toilet. This part of the house would very well accommodate a couple with children.

From the hallway steps lead down to bedrooms three and four, both with their own bathrooms facilities. Bedroom three is generously sized with its own lounge area, beautiful views, and doors opening up onto the garden and pool area. This room has a separate bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. The fourth bedroom has an en suite bathroom and also has doors opening up onto the garden. This bedroom has a separate toilet.

Outside you'll find a large terrace which has beautiful panoramic views of the pool area and the surrounding countryside, and can be directly accessed from the kitchen as well as the living room. There's a second large terrace to the side of the house, also with an incredible view.

The 10 x 5 swimming pool is situated in a large secluded garden. In the garden you'll find several tables seating 8, where you can have an al fresco lunch or dinner. The numerous trees provide plenty of shady corners and there are ample sun-beds, lounging chairs and sun umbrellas for those who prefer the shade. There is a large Jeux-de-Boules area and from everywhere you have lovely views of the Luberon mountains.

The grounds offer ample parking space.

Villa Belvedere is at walking distance (20 mins) from the pretty village of Murs, where you will find a restaurant and a food store, and it's a 15 mins drive to Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, with numerous cafes, restaurants and shops. Joucas, Bonnieux and Menerbes are all close, and the famous Abbaye de Sénanque is a 10 mins drive. The house is 60 minutes from Marseille-Marignane airport, 30 minutes from Avignon, 1 hour from the sea and 45 minutes from Aix-en-Provence. You'll find a 18-hole golf course near Saumane, at 18 km.

I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Villa Belvedere is a truly special place, and we would definitely like to return. The house was perfect for 4 adults, 3 children; incredible views; the most well-equipped kitchen I’ve ever come across (!) We loved cycling around the countryside visiting several hilltop villages as well as playing with our children in the pool. The concierge also prepared a delicious meal for our friend’s birthday so thank you for this wonderful recommendation :-)

Villa Belvedere was excellent. The location is great, the view is extraordinary. The house is well designed and nicely furbished. It offers a lot of space, a very nice living room. It's a place where you feel at home after half day and where you would like to stay longer!

The house was in great condition and very well appointed. I would love to stay here again, appreciating the view from the terrace whilst drinking a glass of wine. Every facility you would expect at your disposal and an well equipped kitchen. I have no reservations in recommending this Villa.

The accommodation at the villa was excellent and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The living spaces and bedrooms were generous and the kitchen well equipped. Villa Belvedere is well placed to achieve what I had hoped to do and that was to visit the hilltop villages of the region without long drives.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Villa Belvedere. The house was beautifully decorated, very well equiped and located in a very quiet area. We will never forget the breakfasts/dinners with such a great view on the Luberon valley, and the time spent with our kids in the pool and on the petanque court. We hope to come back in the future!

We had a fabulous time at Villa Belvedere. It is aquite amazing house - so good, with such stunning views from the terrace that we probably didn't see as much of Provence as we should because we couldn't wait to get back to the house. Our best holiday for years, We have been to many places in France but have fallen in love with the Luberon. I can't wait to come back - we have never been so 'triste' at the thought of coming home! A bientot!

We spent very relaxing holidays in a charming house in a maginficient landscape. All was as expected, or even better and we encountered no problem at all. Your part was also painless as all the booking part was simple and clear. Thank you very much for making this fantastic holiday possible!
