One of our best July holidays ever! Nicely situated in the middle of the Luberon, from here we made beautiful tours to all villages like Bonnieux and Gordes etc but also went to the Saturday market in Apt and the Sunday antique market in L’Isle sur la Sorgue, all is so near… As we stayed 3 weeks - which was barely enough! - we also went to Avignon, Aix en Provence and Marseille, all very nice, and we booked tickets for the opera in Orange. We still have sweet memories of our dinners under the big tree, the early morning swim sessions in the pool and, as we were lucky to have water in the nearby river, we often went there to swim too… The house stayed surprisingly cool even in high summer, i think mainly due to the old walls...

What to say more, in style renovated ‘cottage’ or farmhouse or how shall I call it… It used to be an old mill but it's hard to tell now, this is a lovely holdiday home with only nice materials used! Located very much in nature but not isolated or anything and all Luberon villages are nearby, as well of course Saignon where we went every day for croissants and pain au chocolat… Sometimes we just walked up, had a drink at Christine's and walked back, beautiful walk… We will be back soon!

As we are avid cyclists we chose this house because of the famous Luberon bicycle path, which runs close to the house. You can bike to Apt and all the way to Coustelet, Bonnieux, and Menerbes or in the other direction to Goult and Gordes, and also to Cereste, or up the hill to Castellet and Auribeau, really beautiful. We stayed here the end of June and the beginning of July, with all the lavender in full bloom, gorgeous! The house was a really nice place to come back to, first a dip in the pool, then a quick siesta, and we enjoyed our 'al fresco' dinners very much! I would highly recommend this house!

We had a great time in Provence. Everything was easy to organise and we felt that we were in very good hands.. The house was beautiful and very well equipped, particularly with regard to the kitchen. Canoeing with Kayak Vert was a highlight, as was visiting local markets. Thank you!
