Magnificent restored 'Mas' in the Luberon countryside, with beautiful views, in a pleasant and peaceful area close to Lourmarin which is regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.
The traditional 'pierres apparentes' stone wall house has been tastefully renovated and sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms. Much thought and care went into the interior decoration, and this home truly exudes a luxurious atmosphere.
On the ground floor you'll find a light and airy living room with a large Provencal fireplace and beautiful views of the garden and the surrounding countryside. From the living room doors open onto a magnificent outside terrace with beautiful views of the garden and towards the Luberon mountains.
On the ground floor there's also a seperate dining room with doors to the terrace, and a fully equipped kitchen with doors opening onto an outside terrace with a large dining table. The ground floor has a separate shower room with toilet, which is accessible from the pool area.
Upstairs are 3 uniquely decorated bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, the other bedroom has 2 single beds. On the upper level you'll also find a small 'salon'.
Villa Les Fortunes is surrounded by a pretty landscaped garden, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and towards the Luberon mountains. In the garden you'll find the large heated pool; the pool area offers the same spectacular views, which can be enjoyed from the comfortable deck chairs.
Villa Les Fortunes is located at walking distance from the charming Provencal village of Ansouis, where you'll find restaurants, bars and several shops, and 10 km from the lively village of Lourmarin.
Aix-en-Provence is 20 mins. by car, it's a 50 mins. drive from Marseille’s Marignane airport, and 45 mins. from Aix-en-Provence's TGV station.
Although only 20 minutes from the A51 motorway the house is in the depth of the Luberon countryside in peaceful and pretty surroundings. You'll find a 18-hole golf course near Manosque, at 35 km.

This is the best house we’ve stayed in! The size was perfect for us! Beautiful garden, pool and surroundings. The house is also equipped with bikes, which was great for us. You can ride to the village of Ansouis in the morning to get fresh croissants at the local Patisserie. The restaurant in Ansouis "La Closerie" is absolutely superb. We actually went back there a second time, because it was so good. The best food we had on our trip. Most of the time we had dinner on the terrace of the house, though. The kitchen is well equipped, so cooking was a breeze. There is really nothing to improve in this house. We’ve been back home for more than a week now and we really miss our new "home in Provence". We will be back for sure! Cheers,

Villa les Fortunes is delightful. We found it to be tastefully furnished with all that is required for a holiday home. All the kitchen utensils were clean and in good style. Bathrooms were spacious and with excellent showers. It is situated just outside Ansouis, which is an ancient and fantastic village with a patisserie/bakery and many good restaurants as well as a village shop for purchasing provisions. The home is surrounded by vineyards on a country lane with a fine view to the distance. The villa is perfect for touring the region with many historical and vacation sites nearby. Definitely recommend a visit!

We had a wonderful week at Les fortunes thank you. The house is a perfect hideaway. All 3 bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. We were very lucky with weather so ate all meals outside.Something else to add to your guide for future guests - Domaine Fontenille in Lauris to north.. A highlight for us all - we had a fantastic lunch in their outdoor cafe/bistro which is a stunning setting. Then tried some wines in cave afterwards. The caretaker was wonderfully helpful and made us very welcome on arrival which is always a nice start. And she also invited us to join her on a visit to a little honey "farm" which was marvellous..We loved our time there and would happily return.Very pleased to have found through you so many many thanks. Kind regards,

My feedback couldn`t be more positive: we loved it! The house is wonderful and was perfect for us. And congratulations for your homepage, the pictures really match the reality. We spent very relaxing days in the garden and your Mini Guide was very helpful to find excellent restaurants and beautiful markets. Thank you again for your service and everything and we would love to come back!
