Villa Mirabeau is a spacious and tastefully renovated Mas, situated on the outskirts of Vauvenargues village, close to the historic market town of Aix-en-Provence. The villa is set in 10,000 m2 of enclosed grounds of olive trees and lavender, with a swimming pool with summer kitchen and several covered terrace areas. The house is very well equipped and offers 350m2 of living space, sleeping 10, with three bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in an adjacent part with separate entrance. All of the house benefits from air conditioning. Villa Mirabeau is full of charm and character, in a countryside setting, yet within easy reach of shops.
On the ground floor you will find a large living room with authentic Provencal fireplace, a comfortable dining area and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. The living room has doors opening up onto a large outside terrace with beautiful views of the St-Victoire mountain range. The kitchen area opens up onto a terrace overlooking the pool area. On this level you will also find a bathroom with shower.
Stairs lead up to the first floor with 3 bedrooms: the master bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath and shower, and two bedrooms sharing a bathroom, also with bath and shower. The master bedroom has a terrace with magnificent panoramic views, the two bedrooms each have a small terrace area with the same wonderful views.
The adjacent part of the house has a separate entrance. Here you'll have a living area with open plan kitchen and two bedrooms, sharing a bathroom with bath and shower.
The villa is set in 10,000 m2 of enclosed grounds of olive trees and lavender, with a large secluded garden area. The pool measures 10x5m, and to enjoy those summer days you will have a pool house with summer kitchen and BBQ area. There is ample parking space on the premises.
Villa Mirabeau is situated on the outskirts of Vauvenargues village, 20 km west of the historic market town of Aix-en-Provence. In the village you will find several restaurants and a small supermarket which sells bread/croissants etc. All of Provence is within easy reach, and the villa is also well situated for exploring the rest of the South of France. Aix TGV station is at 30 mins by car and the historical town of Avignon and its TGV train station are at an hours drive. Marseille Provence airport is at 45 mins, and the Mediterranean Sea is at 60km, an hour's drive

Fantastic house with wonderful views, in nature but not far from the beautiful village Veauvenargues with a few nice restaurants and of course the Picasso Castle, we drove twice to Aix , nice town with great restaurants

We took our bikes and discovered the whole area, it was a treat to come back home and enjoy the pool and the silence! we only used our car once to go to Aix, we had a great holiday, wonderful house, thank you

Sometimes you hope,….but mostly the house you rent is less nice as the pictures, in this case it was the other way round, beautiful house, airconditioning very welcome in august, large garden and grounds , very comfortable house with all you’ll need. We were staying with our family and my mother, 7 pp in total, so enough space for everybody, will come back !

We needed to be in Aix en Provence (for dance performances) every evening and it was a treat to enjoy this beautiful house and surroundings at day time to relax . The views are to die for, the house offers all you would want!
